What is Hickory Flat UMC like?

HFUMC has two Sunday worship times, 9am and 11am. If you enjoy worship with a praise band complete with guitars, keyboards and percussion, you might want to try the celebration at 9am. If you enjoy the sounds of organ, guitar, instrument ensemble and choir, then the celebration at 11am might be more to your liking. We celebrate The Lord’s Supper with communion at both services on the first Sunday of each month.

How should I dress?
HFUMC is a casual place of worship. You'll find everything from suits and ties to blue jeans. Come as you are comfortable.

Where do I enter the building?
Follow the arrows on the parking lot surface, driving around to the right of the church building. You may enter through the East Cherokee Dr. entrance, which brings you into the side of the church. You may enter through the first set of double doors, which brings you into the back of the church (the usual entrance into a church). Or you may enter through the second set of double doors, the Main Entrance, which brings you through the welcome center. We have an information desk there where you can be directed to our sanctuary (directly on the left), nursery, children's programs, adult Sunday school classes, or restrooms.
