Young Marrieds Class
Christ, Couples, and Coffee Sunday School class is studying the series “Love and Respect,” a 14-week series study of the popular book by Dr. Emerson Eggerichs. The class of mostly young married couples meets in Trailer B1 at 9:15am. Please come, fellowship, and study this series with them. The nursery is available for young children. Women’s Self Defense Class May 17
WINGS Women’s Ministry is sponsoring a Women’s Self Defense Class on Saturday, May 17 in the fellowship hall, 9am-1pm. $20 per person. “A Female’s Fighting Chance” class will provide the knowledge and skills to avoid, react to, or escape from a violent or potentially violent situation. Graduate Recognition Sunday, May 18
If you are graduating from high school or college this spring, please contact Rachael Witherspoon at the church office via email or phone her at 770-345-5969. Please provide her with your name, the school you're graduating from, and what your plans are for fall (high school grads) or your major (college grads). We will honor graduates at both services on Sunday, May 18.

Vacation Bible School June 9-13
VBS is June 9-13! Vacation Bible School is a wild and wacky week of experiencing God's Word. We have a science theme this year: Power Lab! For children ages 4 (as of Sept. 1, 2007) through 5th Grade.NOTE: 4th/5th graders will be off-site some days; their program will run until 2pm daily. Medical/permission forms required. Required forms for 4th/5th graders will also be mailed in June. Register online. Please take this opportunity to invite and register your unchurched neighbors' children! Detailed information will be mailed to all VBS participants in June.
Volunteers and Donations Needed: Volunteers are needed. Bring a friend and serve together! Contact Jessica Avery, 770-345-5969. Visit the Donation Board in the welcome center and help provide VBS materials. Items are due May. 18.

Women's "Day Apart" Retreat June 24-25
Women’s “Day Apart” Retreat is for any woman who feels the need to step away from the noise of everyday life into silent prayer and meditation, to reconnect with God and self. Each person has a private room in which to sleep, pray, reflect. The cost of the retreat is $45, with scholarships available.
