Worship Arts Ministries

Chancel Choir

Rehearsals on Wednesdays, 7:30-8:45pm

The Chancel Choir leads in worship every Sunday at 11am for the traditional service. The music selections encompass a wide variety of styles. Larger works are usually offered at Christmas and Easter. Membership is open to all adults and high school/college students. Because of the demands of weekly performance, choir members are expected to attend rehearsals frequently enough to learn the music.

All a choir member needs to bring with them is a love of music and a strong desire to serve God through this ministry. If you can match pitches, we will help you with the rest.

Instrumental Ensemble

Rehearsals TBA

The Instrumental Ensemble is an area of service for both high school instrumentalists who would like to use their skills in worship and for adults who enjoyed (or enjoy) playing a band or orchestra instrument and would like to use their talent and skill to serve God in worship. The Ensemble has, in the past, played hymn accompaniments for traditional worship and played with the Choir on special anthems.  The Instrumental Ensemble also provides special service music and participates in the larger works performed at Christmas and Easter.

Sanctuary Bells

Rehearsals on Sundays, 5:30-6:30pm

Ring your praises with handbells!! Membership is open to adults. We play in traditional worship 5-6 times a year.  Previous experience is helpful but not necessary.

Women’s Chorus – Rehearsals TBA

Denise Brown is the director of this chorus.

The Women’s Chorus is open to all women in the congregation. It does not matter whether you are a 9:20am worshipper or an 11am worshipper. If you love to sing, but can’t make a commitment to a year round group then this is the chorus for you! These ladies meet to rehearse for 5 or 6 weeks and then sing in one or both worship times on a predetermined Sunday. Then they take a break for a few weeks and start again.
