Children's Ministries at Hickory Flat
Our mission: To supplement the family so that children establish a lifelong relationship with Jesus Christ.
At Hickory Flat Church, we strive to help you navigate your child through their development into full faith in Jesus Christ. We provide regular classes and programs to reinforce the training you're already providing in your home every day.
Is Your Child Safe at HFC?
At Hickory Flat Church we put our children first. We believe that a church should be a safe place for all children and youth. Because of that belief, we have developed guidelines, policies, and procedures to reduce the risk of child abuse in our family of faith, and for reporting and responding to an allegation of abuse. We have a Safe Sanctuary policy in place and all volunteers and staff who work with children are background-checked. We also use a computerized check in/out system to help ensure the safety of your children while they are on campus.
Sunday Morning Programs at 9:20am and 11am
Before the service starts, check in your children using one of our computer check-in kiosks located near the Education Hall and in the Gathering Room.
Adventure Island
Adventure Island is a ministry for 3- and 4-year-olds. Through structured play and engaging bible teaching, children receive an early faith foundation. Meets in the Education Wing.
JourneyLand- 9:20am
JourneyLand is a high-energy children's worship experience that incorporates drama and technology. JourneyLand helps children to explore Biblical truths and keeps them engaged. For children in Kindergarten through 5th grade. Meets in the fellowship hall.
Voyagers- 11am
On August 8, children ages 3 years through 5th grade will set sail on a new Voyage in children's ministry. During the 11am worship hour, children will meet in the Education Wing in age-appropriate groups to study our new Bible-In-Life curriculum.

Children with special needs can be accommodated. Please contact the church office in advance so that your child can be best served.
